To strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure a swift, coordinated response during emergencies, PTHI, through the initiative of 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐏. 𝐄𝐠𝐨𝐬, has taken proactive steps by working closely with the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌𝐎), 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐅𝐏), and our 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬.

As part of this initiative, all faculty members and staff underwent an extensive seminar conducted by the City DRRMO and the BFP. Participants were briefed on updated national safety standards and community-based response strategies, ensuring that our team remains informed and ready to act.

The 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 that followed served as a real-time application of the lessons learned. With guidance, the drill simulated possible emergency scenarios, allowing faculty, staff, and students to practice the proper flow of action from the initial alarm to the final assembly point. Observers provided feedback to help improve timing, coordination, and overall execution.
